When both of my children had to have surgery at 5 months old, we were at
Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. They offered meal vouchers to
breastfeeding/pumping mothers. THe hospital food got old pretty quickly, but
it was nice to know that I did not have to worry about paying for my own
meals with all the other stress.

A friend had a baby in the NICU for a couple months, and her biggest issue
was that there was not a pumping room close by. Having a pumping room
dedicated to the NICU babies would be helpful as well so that moms could stay
close to their babies.
