One creative mother played to her baby's emotions.

.         He didn't like cold milk, so she refrigerated all his bottles.

.         She bought one of every bottle teat and rotated them.  I might do
the same with the bottles as well.  No reliable "ba-ba".

.         She held him facing away from her or in an infant seat and without
comment or eye contact when he got a bottle.

.         She really "loved him up" when he was nursing - eye contact,
crooning, stroking, the whole nine yards.

Her message was, "You want food from another source?  Fine.  You'll get food
and nothing more.  If you want loving, it comes from *me*." 

 It might not  work for the hard core refusers, but it worked for her.
