Point well taken as far as which are the battles we want to fight. I was
fortunate enough to not have to deal with a lot of flap and because I went
into ped's section meeting with the information at hand I was able to calm
the storm. The question still remains as to wouldn't the milk be better than
risking NEC, plus there is always the chance that long term premies may
contract any number of bacteria/viruses during their hospital stay. That
premie could pick up those bugs whether breast/bottlefdg. and there are too
many confounding factors in the life of a premie. I guess I have had the good
fortune of having to deal with neo's at the university level that like to see
babies get EBM. Hypothetically speaking, I wonder what the neo's response
might be if it was his own premie that might benefit from the milk - would
