when barbara wilson-clay says to send those doctor's reports, you better
listen to her! i have a client who, among a zillion other problems, i
determined had thrush (big yeasty diaper rash on baby, white patches in baby's
mouth, symptoms starting up on mother's nipples, now was that hard?) but her
doctor and the pediatrician both refused to prescribe. i had given her gentian
violet, but they tried to scare her into not using it "because it stains."

i sent another report to both doctors, stating in a rather straightforward way
what the basis was for my recommendations, mentioning to the ped that contrary
to his opinion that "it was not bad enough to be treated" that i felt the
opposite, and so on, and so forth.

the nice end to this story is that both doctors agreed to prescribe for this
mother and baby (she had already tried the GV with instant results) and the
ob/gyn was so impressed with my report to her that she was reading part of it
to my client!

guess it works sometimes.
