Sally,

I had a few thoughts on some tidbits you may want to cover in talking
with daycare providers about caring for breastfed babies/preserving the
BF relationship:

- sometimes a working and pumping mom supplements her pumped milk with
formula; many care providers need coaching to treat the EBM as the
"liquid gold" that it is, for example by using it first before any
formula provided. (Obvious to us, I know...)

- working & pumping moms often go to extraordinary lengths to protect
and preserve the BF relationship and to provide EBM; women have been
know to literally "cry over spilled milk" when a pumped bottle of milk
tips over. Knowing about this can help care providers empathize with the
mothers. Try and identify some anecdotes of working & pumping moms. (If
you need some, I can provide references.)

Good luck!
