I don't think I've ever had to hospitalize a breastfeeding infant with
rotovirus.   A couple of them have been fairly ill, but have made it through
with continued breastfeeding.  Unfortunately, I've had to hospitalize quite a
few artificially-fed infants for rotovirus-caused dehydration.  The post about
the 6-day old was of concern, though, because the infant was so young and so
much more vulnerable than he/she would have been at an older age.
