I am somewhat surprised that no one so far has recommended that this mom
get a copy of the great new book "Defining Your Own Success" by Diana
West. This is the only book on this subject and really covers the
subject. Like the WAB it offers personal encouragement as well as loads
of factual information with a realistic and positive perspective.
Diana's point is that there is more to breastfeeding than providing 100%
of your child's nutrition. I thin all women considering breastfeeding
after reduction (BFAR) should get this book. Preferably before birth.

On another note, I am opening a private out-of-my-home office next week.
I guess you could say that I am terrified. Working out of the home means
no overhead, no risk. Now I'll be paying rent and utilities and am just
praying that I will get enough business to make it work. This is really
needed though, as we live in a place that I cannot bring mothers to, and
doing house visits is so time intensive.

Wish me luck!

Victoria in W. Md.
