About chlorpromazine, it is anti-dopaminergic, so will increase prolactin
levels, therefore possibly(?) enhancing let down, but not really because
prolactin does not do this. I don't know if it affects oxytocin levels.
Anyway, using chlorpromazine is a significant risk because of the risk of
tardive dyskinesia, and otherlong-lasting neurological effects. I haven't
read the book mentioned, but when drug suggestions are thrown around,
hopefully the prescriber does his/her homework!!-Anne Eglash MD
