Winnie, we have a breastfeeding booklet for our term and preterm infants
(one each).  They both have recommendations for fenugreek, etc.  Our
pediatricians were all given a copy of the book and approved it--as a
group.  Perhaps you could develop a handout that your OBs and pediatricians
would approve of. Then you wouldn't have to recommend anything--it would
already be in the handout.
