My understanding of the toxin load in breastmilk would lead me to believe
that this mom has already given her biggest toxin load to her firstborn
(therefore in this case her son). I was truly woebegone when I realized my
grandson (my firstborn's firstborn) was now the proud owner of much of the
DDT I smelled growing up in the Chicago suburbs - I remember the smell of
summer evenings when the truck came by blowing DDT out to kill the
mosquitoes.

Read Sandra Steingraber's _Having Faith_ for that same chilling
moment....and yet she is totally and madly in love with breastmilk and
breastfeeding, with good reason.

....now in Vermont where the mosquito is the state bird...and the
grandchildren are in Alaska on the taiga, I won't even go into THAT
experience wiht mosquitoes....
