Forgive me if this has already been discussed. I have not been feeling well,
so I have flown through the last several digests to catch up.

There is an IBCLC at a local WIC office here who recommends cabbage leaves
soaked in ice water, crunched up, spread back out, placed on the inside of a
bra, and replaced with new leaves every 2 or so hours. She recommends this
to mothers on WIC who are formula-feeding, who have severe engorgement (with,
of course, cutting out the leaf area over the nipple), and who lose a baby.
She gets a lot of positive feedback from these moms as to the help this
technique provides for them. I know we have discussed cabbage recently, but
I don't know if we have discussed it in this capacity.
