Sue Jacoby wrote about a woman with recurrent mastitis that began each
time with "ill" feelings elsewhere.

I know of one woman who had recurrent plugs and mastitis that culminated
after several years in illness so serious she was hospitalized. She had
surgery for a *very* nasty appendix... and had no further mastitis.

Could Sue's woman have an ongoing infection elsewhere that manifests
itself in mastitis?
