Consider also iPods, MP3s, both audio and video. I have heard of hospital systems that use these for staff training at the convenience of the trainee. If memory serves, you can also get ILCA conf sessions in this format.

KellyMom has two easy to use weight-calculating programs, reasonably priced, IMO, because I bought them and use them on my Palm PDA.
I've been able to show baby's weight changes in actual numbers and percentages. Especially useful when I have baby's discharge weight to include in the data on my consult report. (Disclaimer: I have no $$ interest in these programs; have not met Kelly B. but did see her at Conf. last July).
