I have this study by Maisels at work.  He was specificially looking for
cases of kernicterus in breastfed babies, so the charts he looked at
were those of babies designated as breastfeeding.  I haven't read the
article as thoroughly as I should have, so I don't know what they
considered "breastfeeding" to be.  As Dr. Jack points out, it's still
probably a case of "lack of breastfeeding", with all the side effects of
starvation that that implies.  Anyone else have the article?
