Recently I have written an article in Russian about safe weaning whether it is right after birth (In case there is no desire to pursue bf) to natural weaning to everything in between like emergency weaning and weaning at different staged of babies life.  In Russia the dangerous practice of administering bromcriptine is very widespread.  I wanted to counter that tradition with safer alternatives.  The article is a how-to instruction with a section for each scenario of things to consider, for example relactation or postponement.  In case a newborn dies I mention an option of pumping and donating milk to give life to another baby.
