I think we all have to realize we are talking apples and oranges here.  The
issue isn't how close to surgery can baby be fed to make anesthesia happy,
but how clean the bowel is for the surgery.  That's a whole other ball game
and pretty crucial for bowel surgery.  BTW: Trish's info on how fast the
