Okay, this is only tangentially breastfeeding related, but I once had a
really nice inventory of Pedialyte from being given samples by my
pediatriacian whenever one of my babies under the age of one would get
diarrhea.  I just kept breastfeeding and I could never get any of my kids
over the age of one to drink the stuff.  I had an obstetric appointment and
I mentioned the pedialyte to my ob/gyn and he said he never could get his
kids to drink it either, that it tasted terrible ;-)  Besides his
willingness to follow MY birth plan, I knew this was another reason why I
liked him.
