Just a quick note to say that all infant formulas are not the same. Standard cows milk based formulas can have different fatty acid profiles, different amounts of additives (one formula has twice the DHA that others have), different kinds of additives, different whey-to-casein ratios, removal of ingredients such as lactose, and different potential for contaminants among other things. Lack of knowledge of infant formula is not necessarily a good thing nor in the best interests of the mothers and babies we work with.
