Yesterday a baby was abducted by a woman masquerading as a post-partum
patient.  She took it out of the nursery (yes, we have those some places),
unchallenged by staff, and got it all the way home.
It was recovered later in the day thanks to a heads up newsstand operator in
the hospital who recognized her.   Parents and baby went home immediately
thereafter.

This would not have happened if mother was sharing a bed with baby.
