     Perhaps I was not clear in my original post.  I never questioned that
this baby was fed EBM in the hospital.  People's article made that clear.
Again YEAH!!!!  My concern was that the article never mentioned a latch, or
referred to continued breastfeeding.  Rather the next references were to
bottles and pacifiers.  This led me to believe that the baby was later fed
ABM. (I may very well be wrong and really hope that I am).
        After reading the article (my only source on this as I, and most of
People's readers do not know this mom personally), my question remains:
should I be happy to see breastfeeding mentioned in such a public forum, or
more concerned that pumping breastmilk was presented as another of the
heroic efforts used by the parents and hospital staff to save this child?
