Please, when sending messages be sure the "tag line" that shows up in
the reciever's inbox gives more than just your first name.  We recently
had a virus try to get into our computer and the "from" line said simply
"Jan".  There are Jans not only on lactnet, but within my religious
community and on at least one other computer group I'm involved with.  I
for one will not open anything with just a first name.  This may mean
that I'll miss a message or two that I did want to get, but better than
having to get rid of a virus.  Frequent updating of your virus checker
goes a long way, but is no guarantee.  So please, not only on LN, but in
any computer correspondence, make the source clearly identifiable when
you send a message or it might never get read.
