Mother reports no vaginal symptoms
since birth and now wonders if she should treat for vaginal yeast despite
lack of symptoms.
There is a saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" or something. Yes, she may have had vag
thrush during pregnancy, but it often resolves spontaneously after birth when the hormone levels
drop. I find vag thrush uncommon during lactation (the exception is the woman who has taken
a lot of antibiotics).
