Yes, it is always bitter.  Mixed to the tune of 5 - 10 drops per oz of
water.....I've found a quick swabbing and then nursing was doable with baby.
I've had many Moms treat their babies with it.  The distinct advantage over
any other treatment is that you can get rid of the yeast within a couple of
days and the treatment is over.

Mom can take capsules instead if preferred.  I just slugged it down because
it was in the house in liquid form.  I ALWAYS keep some around, because it
nips yeast in the bud regardless of the location so quickly that thrush never
becomes a full blown problem.  I had a big thrush battle the first time out
with my twins......and have never wanted to experience that misery
again....and haven't.  :)
