I have also had problems with reading the AOL downloaded digests. After much
fiddling, I now download onto a floppy and then, while still on-line, I go
into the File and click on Download Manager. I click on Show files and then
click on Lactnet then I click on File and click on Open. This allows me to
read Lactnet while still on-line. There may be an easier way but I have not
found it. Until AOL fixes its problems, maybe this will help.
