HELP!!!  I have been working with a client that has severe engorgement
since Saturday.  We have put baby to breast more often,altered baby's
position, massage during feeds, pumped before and after feeds, hot soaks
with massage, cold compress after feeds, cabbage leaves. I am running out
of ideas!  We are able to get a few dribbles but Mom has had no relief and
is ready to give up!!  The other thing I thought of was ultrasound but the
Doc wants research to back this up.  I know it is done is Australia with
success so maybe some of you have some research to back this up.  I also
know it can be a treatment for plugged ducts but I haven't found the
research for this either and when I recommended it to the Doc I think he
thought I had 2 green heads:))
