"Who would want to admit that what you fed your baby was an inferior food?
*That's* why it's hard to get accurate coverage of breastfeeding in the
mainstream media"

Dear Friends:
What mother would deliberately feed her baby inferior food?
Why do you think that the industry has such a powerful, and wonderful
marketing campaign? This marketing campaign is changing childrearing practices
around the world and is the reason for the WHO Code of Marketing of Breastmilk
Substitutes.
Breastfeeding intiation and duration are changing in every country on
earth because people are like the new mother and dad I saw tonight. They believed
the advertising that says "this new product has this new stuff in it that
makes it as good as mothers' milk." They also believed it because they got
samples before they went home.
    Misleading advertising has derailed parenting.
Doctors used to advertise cigarettes in the 1950s.
We learn and grow and change and make the future better!

Mainstream media does not cover the truth because industry is linked to
the networks by corporate intimacy. Folks are protecting their profit!
    warmly,
