I am an LC and LLL Leader in NYC, for 14 years. There is no milk bank in
our area, unless there is a new project starting.  There is no Dr. Feld in
the Manhattan phone book.  There is a history, for at least ten years, of a
man requesting breastmilk. Perhaps the knowledge that a prescription is
necessary has become well known. Heather, I too have stories; this is not
the place to share them. The lesson is: extreme caution by breastfeeding
advocates, who are sometimes used unscrupulously, by sick people.
