Inversion of a previously normal nipple is a warning sign of breast cancer.
It is possible that involution of the breast following weaning may create
delated appearing breasts, and possibly (theoretically) even a collapsed
looking nipple areola complex, I wouldn't ignore a unilateral change. The
breast should be visualized by a competant health care professional to rule
out under-lying disease.
