I have experienced this personally, and I was wondering if anyone else has
noticed this. I was one of those unlucky sorts who started menustration
months after childbirth, even with serious nighttime nursing. My sons would
get "mean" right before my period. If you're wondering if my judgment was
colored by my mood at the time, this was a phenomenon that my husband and
other family members noticed as well. Often they were fretfull (sp?) and put
in overtime and the breast. Since I nursed my second child for 4 1/2 years,
it became especially noticeable with all the heavy fits that he threw at that
time. Debbie Albert, IBCLC
