The Evert-It (this one I have actually seen) is a bit like a cross between a
mini pump and the syringe with the barrel cut and the plunger reversed.  It
is used to apply controlled suction to the lactating nipple.

The Nipplette, I understand (I haven't actually seen one) is like a nipple
cover with a tubing coming off it to a 3 way valve with a syringe.  It is
used to apply controlled suction to the NON pregnant, NON lactating nipple.
