Question!
Can a person who has gone to medical school practice medicine if she/he
didn't complete a full course and take the state board exam?

I think not.  So why can a person who's taken some course in lactation call
herself a Lactation Consultant when she hasn't taken the qualifying exam
(IBLCE)?

It truly is a problem for our profession.
