Hello Friends,
One of my Mothers is concerned about the smell of her baby's burps. Baby is 5 days old, exclusively breastfed. Mom says that baby burps after feeds and that it smells like sewage. Discussed mother's diet and nothing seems out of the ordinary. She is taking iron. I checked the archives and couldn't find anything. Mother can live with the yucky smell, just wants to know that this doesn't indicate some kindof medical problem. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Chayn Fogelman IBCLC Israel
