I manage a nursery, and have never seen fx. clavicles as a cause of
lethargy/sleep in newborns. The majority of them, in fact, appear to have
minimal pain, except on palpation of the fx site, or pressure. Certainly,
positioning can avoid doing this, and nursing rarely is compromised. Look
further-there is another cause-I also would have to r/o sepsis or other
cause.
