The doctors who gave out this misinformation are violating standard of
practice.   They should be reported.

The Zomig/weaning issue is certainly debatable but suggesting an alternative
medication instead of weaning is the ONLY correct medical choice.

As always, I would be happy to submit a letter of support for this reporting
and there are doctors on this list with far stronger academic credentials
than mine who, I'm sure, would also step up and write brief notes affirming
that telling a mother to wean because of Hepatitis C puts the baby at
increased risk.
