I am again impressed both by your thoroughness and your generosity.  Thanks so
much for the information you just posted.

Now - did you read the Consumer Reports of October 1996 page 8 - "A video
monitor for the nursery?"

They were comparinge efficacy of the monitor in the dark.  Their last statement
was "Most of the staffers who tried one felt an audio monitor was enough;  thgey
didn't need to watch the baby on TV to feel reassured."

It seems to me Consumer Reports needs to identify the "reassurance" these
parents needed and for what age babies.  I know mine needed to be within my
touch, not my hearing or sight, for me to "feel reassured."

Please someone more thoroughly versed on the subject address the issue with
them!
