I used to be fanatical about car seats, too, everyone.  Just remember not to
check your brains at the door when it comes to evaluating ANY infant
product.  For instance, I was completely blown away by this TED Conference
talk about child car seats.  It seems that they are not any safer than lap
belts for ages 2 and up.  In fact, they may be associated with a higher rate
of death for children than lap belts.  This lecture was fascinating,
everyone!!!!

I know it's not a post about breastfeeding/lactation, but the very context
of it reminds me how important it is to look at research and not just our
warm and fuzzy feelings about children.  Morgan, watch the video and tell me
what you think.
