I will admit I watched it, sort of like a train wreck, I could not resist
looking.
The show was about mothers disillusioned with the reality of motherhood.
The loneliness, the hard work,
the physical demands of a baby. One mother discussed how hard breastfeeding
was at 6 weeks, one talked about her feelings of failure for not
breastfeeding, one who felt like a gymnasium from breastfeeding her active
baby, and who did not want her husband to touch her. Several women talked
about bleeding nipples like it was just an expected event.

I would not have been so discouraged, if any sort of help, resource, or
contact had been mentioned to assist with breastfeeding problems. As others
have mentioned this is typical of Oprah, and her negativity towards
motherhood.
