     Our hospital uses the M***** Soft Feeder to cup feed breastfed babies
when supplements are ordered by the MD. In cup feeding the BABY controls
the flow of liquid; I would think that with a syringe there is a danger of
having the person doing the feeding try to squirt milk into the baby's
mouth, and this could present a danger. Another method of supplementing
according to our policy is with the SNS at the breast or with finger
feeding, also with the SNS (starter kit).
