I have a vague recolection of seeing a generic baby formula on the shelf in
a grocery store in Norway.  The "formula" was called "Ersatz" milk.  My
Websters Dictonary defines ersatz as "A substitute; especially an inferior
imitation".

Ersatz baby milk works for me!

It is important for us all to remember that while ersatz baby milk is not
anywhere close to as good as the real thing, we should NOT bash it.  There
are times when it IS appropriate and has saved babies lives.   We just have
to help educated people that this is the exception, not the rule.
