Thanks to all who posted to help assuage my feelings of failure at sending
this young nurse fleeing in tears from my breastfeeding talk for would-be
cross trained nurses.  As many may have guessed, she did not return my phone
call.  I've decided not to chase her down and make her talk to me.  We all
need time to digest thoughts and feelings on the matter.  And I'd fear
making things worse by become a lactation stalker or something.  I do hope
that at some point she seeks me out.  I've also thought of contacting the
nurse that seemed to know her best in the group, to find out how she is
doing and whether she thought there was anything that I could do to help.
Much of what was contained in the posts, I'd already considered, but it was
so helpful, hearing them said by others.  It really is great to have such
knowledgeable support literally at one's fingertips.

On a lighter note, I had a rewarding weekend working with a new babe, mom,
and dad helping them navigate through the trials and tribulations of the
early breastfeeding challenges.
