As regards the thread on milk stains, my first baby was a "happy chucker" 
for a while and always had a discoloured area on her clothes under her chin. 
I noticed it, but didn't let it bother me as i was so thrilled to be 
breastfeeding again after reversing iatrogenic lactation failure - from 
"dry" to full supply. The small amount that came up wasn't overflow from 
taking too much - she was a long, lean, leggy baby who grew up competing at 
high levels in sport. When she was a baby, we almost never went anywhere for 
anyone to notice the stains, as we lived almost two hours from town on a bad 
road and trips to town were rare. The stains eventually washed out, without 
any special effort, after the possetting stopped. At the time we had a pet 
parrot, a young, female sulphur-crested cocatoo that used to spend short 
times inside. When I walked round with my baby on my shoulder, the parrot 
used to follow me round, on foot, trying to lick up the slightly curdy milk 
spills from the floor of the enclosed verandah . I say "trying", as parrots 
can't lick with such a big beak and a funny little stubby tongue.

Anecdotally, I do not have particularly fatty milk and my clothing gets milk 
fat stains that are really tough to get out.  I've found that Dawn dish soap 
gets some of the stains but not all (making me wonder if it's more than just 
the fat causing the stain).
