Hello Netters,

I have to add my .02 as I keep reading about the early dehydration issue. 
For any of you "older" nursery ,nurses.  Remember years ago when the Drs.
orders were "NPO for 6-? hrs. after birth" ????  I never could quite fiqure
that out.  How could we have standard orders for NPO at one point in time
and now be overly concerned if the baby is not BF/supp. immediately.  Is
there ever a balance in life??????  Glad I am a retired nursery nurse now.
