It is my understanding that formula would be a better supplement.
Presuming that baby's insulin response is normal, glucose as a routine
feed seems a poor choice. As a treatment for low blood sugar it would
be OK because that is a situation where quick results are needed. I
worry about the foreign protein exposure, though. (For my sensitive,
allergic family, that is an issue!)  This is a great question!! I look
forward to reading what the others will say!
