When I worked as a hospital based LC I used RN, LC or RN, IBCLC (depending on how much space and time I had to write :-)  That was too many years ago (1986-1991).  Now I would use RN, IBCLC even if it meant using another line on the chart.  I think it is important to specify the IBCLC everywhere we can, so people recognize it.  You'll notice the docs on Lactnet and other places use MD, IBCLC.  I have almost as many initials as name :-)  Personally, the MA and GRMA mean the most :-)  Pat in SNJ, where it is sunny and HOT and somebody forgot spring!
PS:MA stands for mom and GRMA stands for Grandmom :-)
