There is an ad in today's Washington Post asking for people who are "aware
of Boost and Sustecal" (nutritional beverages for adults, made by your
friends and mine at the formula companies) to call an 800 number. I
called, answered some questions, and was told that the category that I
fell into was filled. I assume this has something to do with focus groups
for marketing purposes. I have no idea which question(s) disqualified
me, but I didn't say anything about breastfeeding advocacy, so that
wasn't it. If anyone else is interested in infiltrating this process to
learn what these guys are up to, please do so, and let us know what you
learn.
