WE had the same situation at our hospital - they need to make money to pay
for the Lc's time and the room. We offer a free group for the first 8
weeks(called Mother Care) and a follow up group for babies over 10 weeks.
The older group(called Family Care) pays a fee of $7 for a one time drop in,
or they can buy a monthly pass or 3 month pass for a discounted rate.
($5-6per session).  Many moms get started in the free group and then stay on
for the friendships formed and the topics covered do change.  It is a very
popular group, and moms don't mind paying the fee.
