I don’t know when I started on Lactnet, but I’ve been a La Leche League leader since 1987 and became an IBCLC in 1994.
I remember attending ILCA conferences where Lactnetters gathered at designated lunch tables, putting faces to names and people we knew only through their Lactnet posts.
I still have my Lactnet T-shirts from those days.

I still treasure posts from those early days, watching Jaye Simpson grow in her knowledge and perception over those years to be a leading speaker and expert today, learning so much from Kathy Auerbach and Kathleen Bruce and many,
many other wise voices on this forum.
I really miss some of the participants who are no longer active, like Susan Burger and Kathy Dettwyler and Esther Grunis. And I am very thankful for all of those of you who remain and from whom I learn so much.

Lactnet is a wonderful resource and a real treasure.

Thank you all!
