HI Gonneke,

Yes, you are correct. They used to give all babies (regardless of feeding
method) one drop of Vit. K within 24 hours after birth and the breastfed
ones received a daily dose from the 8th day until 3 months of age (if
they're still breastfed by that time- remember we have a terrible
breastfeeding rate here- :-( ) .
Now it seems that the manufacturer has changed something about the dose and
recommendation is now to start on the second day of life instead of the 8th.
I don't have the exact dosage handy, but I can check it and verify it if
anyone is interested...........
