I find it interesting that there is now a "safe acceptable limit" for this
contaminant, and that parents are not being encouraged to change formulae.
Of course, if the parent changed to another brand, and exposed the baby to
cyanuric acid (byproduct of melamine - is there a safe limit for this one,
yet?) would that be better or worse?

How frightening for these parents to feed their babies "in good faith" and
have consequences beyond the "known benefits of breastfeeding." And what
about the consequences for HCP who administer these products to babies
knowing there is contamination, although assured it's within normal limits
for the time being?
