I just had a mom who had a solid mass in her breast when I first saw her. I
got it ~40% drained working on her in the office and sent her home with pump
and the suggestion of turmeric. We got it down quite a bit but then it
started to become infected. A round core always remained. I suggested mom go
to MD for abx and a possible US screening, with the hope that the US might
be therapeutic. MD was concerned about abscess so did order US. They found a
small pocket but felt it didn't need draining and that mom just needed to
continue the medication. Mom says that from the day of the ultrasound on,
the lump finally dissipated. I'm suspecting the US did the trick along with
the abx.
